Seize every opportunity
When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us so don't wait for extraordinary opportunities. Seize common occasions and make them great. Weak men wait for opportunities; strong men make them. Seize every opportunity and follow it through because that which we persist in doing becomes easier for us to do; not that the nature of the thing itself is changed, but that our power to do is increased. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.
